BRITISH LEGION VISITOR

A visit from Mr Brown of the Royal British Legion.

On the 10th November, we had a visit from Mr Brown. He is 91 and he was born 1926 so he was old enough to fight in World War II. It was lovely to have him visit as we had lots of questions to ask him about what it was like for people in World War II; what his experience was and the work of the British Legion.

He chatted with us for a long time and shared with us what he felt about rationing, fighting in battles and his feelings at the end of the War. He also explained what was going to be happening in Eastleigh on Remembrance day as well as Remembrance Sunday. Mr Brown with his service medals
