The School Council representatives from each year group have a very important role within Norwood Primary School as they implement change within the school based on what they think is important and will be a positive change for the good of all pupils. The school councillors work alongside Mrs Godwin, our key stage 2 leader to implement these changes and they meet regularly to discuss key issues. School councillors hold regular class council meetings so that every child feels that they can contribute their idea which will later be brought to an official school council meeting and will be discussed. School Council representatives are an important part of driving forward areas of school improvement from the pupil’s perspective and their ideas are highly valued and often acted upon.
If you want to find out more of what we have achieved, just ask one of our school Councillors.
