Tālofa! (That means 'Hello' in Tuvaluan!) At Norwood this year, we have chosen to have the theme of Capital Cities for our class names. Collaboratively, we decided we wanted the capital city of Tuvalu, called Funafuti, to be ours. It's pronounced 'Foo-na-foo-tee' and is one of the smallest capital cities in the world. It has a population of just over 6,000 which we discovered is a third of the size of Eastleigh!
We will update this page regularly, so please make sure you pop back and have a look to see what we have been up to!
I am really excited for the start of this different but busy term. If you have any concerns, please contact the school office and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Manuia te aso! (Have a good day!)

Due to the current situation, we are having our indoor and outdoor P.E. sessions on a Friday safely within our year group bubble.
We ask that P.E. kits are worn to school every Friday.
You may wear a dark coloured jumper or hoodie, to keep you warm, and wear shorts under your tracksuit trousers or leggings. Please ensure long hair is tied back and earrings are taken out.
