Admin Assistant 

Salary: Grade C Actual annual Salary £18,889.50 - £19683.00, Full time equivalent £25,186.00 - £26,244.00 

 

Contract Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term-time only - pro rata,

We would like to appoint an Admin Assistant to join our friendly school office team. The role of Admin Assistant, reporting to the Senior Admin Officer, is central to the effective running of the school’s day to day communication and administration in our busy school office. This is a varied role and an exciting opportunity for the right person.

​

Experience in school administration is highly desirable, but candidates with the right experience, skills and qualities for the role are very welcome. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to work quickly, be self-motivated, flexible, trustworthy and have excellent organisation skills. They need to be able to show initiative, communicate at all levels and be committed to supporting the welfare of the children.

You will provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support ensuring that a high quality and effective service is delivered at all times.

School Cleaner  

 

Salary: Grade A Actual annual Salary £6,583.20,  

 

Contract Type: Permanent, 10 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

​

We would like to appoint a cleaner to join our friendly team.

 

The purpose of the role is to provide a support service by maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment for adults and children. To ensure that designated areas of the school are kept clean and hygienic in order that the school gives a good impression and benefits all stakeholders.

 

Duties include:

· Responsible for cleaning a defined area of school in line with agreed procedures and standards

· Determine cleaning priorities in conjunction with the Site Manager or Senior Admin Officer

· Any other cleaning as deemed necessary

· To participate in CPD when required

Supporting the school

At an appropriate level, according to the job role, grade and training received, all employees in the school are expected to:

· Support the aims, values, and ethos of the school and participate in a team approach to all aspects of school life and work within school policies.

· To participate in CPD training in personal/professional development as required.

· Attend and contribute to staff meetings and INSET days as required and identify areas of personal practice and experience to develop.

· Take appropriate responsibility for safeguarding and children’s welfare and be aware of confidential issues linked to home/child/teacher/school and keep confidences appropriately.

Be aware of Health and Safety issues and act in accordance with the school’s Health and Safety Policy.

 

Please note that the hours are 4-6pm, Monday to Friday - 52 weeks per year with the option to condense hours during school holidays.
