Throughout the year we collate evidence of your child’s learning and development using Tapestry, an online application that is used to store photographic and anecdotal evidence.

By logging on with a secure username and password you are able to view some of your child’s observations and photographs that have been recorded by the Early Years Team and send us photographs to document key events in your child’s learning that take place outside of school.

You will receive an email informing you when a new piece of evidence is available to view. This will enable you to follow your child’s progress closely and create opportunities for them to discuss their achievements with you at home. In addition, you will be able to add comments and share any “Wow Moments” that your child is involved in outside of school electronically with their class teacher. All of this information is stored on a highly secure server which is monitored closely.

E-Safety is extremely important to us at Norwood Primary and Pre-School, therefore we ask you to read, sign and return the Tapestry agreement before we are able to activate your online account.

If you do not have access to the internet at home, please speak to the admin team in the Office who will be able to inform you of times when you are able to access your child’s online Learning Journey using the computers in the Discovery Centre.
