It is a pleasure to welcome you to Norwood Primary School.
You may already be a member of our school community, a prospective parent or just interested in finding out more about us, so we are delighted to welcome you to our website and hope that you will find all that you require to give you information about our school.
Children and their learning are at the heart of all that we do here at Norwood. We are very proud of our school and believe that our motto; ‘Explore, Inspire, Achieve & Flourish’ reflects how our children learn and develop.
Our incredible staff team and governors have high aspirations and expectations for each child and endeavour to help every one of them to flourish and reach their full potential. We are committed to providing a creative curriculum which is unique, fun, exciting and enriched with first hand experiences within a safe and happy environment as we want our children to go out into the future as strong, confident and colourful individuals able to achieve more than they ever thought possible. We pride ourselves on our nurturing approach and the special family feel is evident as you walk around our school. Everyone here is valued and respected and has a voice.
Norwood Primary School works closely with other primary schools and our local feeder secondary school in Eastleigh . These partnerships enable us to enrich our children's learning by sharing expertise and curriculum resources and also providing opportunities to work together creatively. We also seek to nurture the same values across our community.
We hope you feel encouraged to be part of our school and to work with us to form the strongest of partnerships. A strong partnership between home and school ensures that each child is able to flourish as they learn and grow. Your views about our school are always welcome and so are you.
We hope you enjoy exploring our school website. If you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us or arrange a visit. We look forward to showing you around and introducing you to our wonderful children and staff.
